Michael's at the Cove Day Spa

It was with great anticipation and a little bit of anxiety that I went to Michael's at the Cove for a spa review. I was scheduled for a one hour organic facial and a 75-minute European Rose Clay Mud Treatment which starts with the salt glow treatment and ends with a "light massage with warm smoothing massage butter." My apprehension came because I had only had 3 hours sleep the night before and I was sure I was going to fall asleep during all this pampering and embarrass myself!

Not to worry--Leslie Hall, one of two massage therapists at Michael's at the Cove Salon & Day Spa, assured me that most people do fall asleep on the table and she considered it a compliment. I was determined, however, to stay awake as long as I could to take notes and observe for this review. It was the least I could do!
