My European Rose Clay Mud Treatment
Leslie Hall--Massage Therapist

Leslie Hall -- Massage Therapist

My experience at Michael's at the Cove began with the Salt Glow Treatment with massage therapist, Leslie Hall. This treatment uses a triple-layer of exfoliating formula that contains rich mineral and therapeutic Dead Sea Salts in three crystal sizes. It is gently rubbed on the skin to awaken circulation and remove accumulated residues and impurities. At first, the rough solution takes some getting use to. There is a formula for sensitive skin, but I was glad I opted for the regular solution. The Salt Glow includes a special blend of oils including jojoba, avocado, peach and sunflower. These provide vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, D, E, amino acids and essential fatty acids to replenish, nourish, protect, heal and soften the skin. Hot towels are used to remove the salts from the skin.

Next the Rose clay mud is applied. It contains minerals that aid in skin renewal, healing and protection. Once again, there is not need to get up and shower off. Instead, hot towels are applied to remove the mud.

The treatment ends with a wonderful light massage using a warm massage butter that helps to tone, hydrate and soften the skin. For days afterwards, I marveled at my glowing skin. "Salt Glow" is really an appropriate name because I felt I was "glowing." I've decided that for a special occasion, I'd opt for the "Salt Glow" instead of a spray tan. It's healthier for you, heals your skin and it lasts a long time.
