Bob Jones High School - Culinary Arts & Hospitality Academy

I asked Judy the difference between the old home ec classes we had when I was growing up and the culinary class. She said the culinary classes are to teach how to work in an industrial environment, such as a hotel or restaurant. The old home ec classes are now called family and consumer sciences and they teach how to cook at home and for a family. Bob Jones High School has two kitches--one for the culinary classes with industrial equipment and one for the domestic cooking classes.
