2006 Kitchens for CASA Fundraiser

CASA(C are A ssurance S ystem for the A ging and Homebound) of Madison County is holding their annual Kitchens for CASA fundraiser on Sunday, August 20 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the event, Kitchens for CASA is a self guided tour of eight designer kitchens in several of Madison County's most exceptional homes. Most of the kitchens feature some products and/or services that are locally available, so if you are seeking remodeling or decorating inspiration, Kitchens for CASA is the place to go.

Tickets are just a $15 donation and are available at the CASA office at 2327 B Pansy Street or by calling 533-7775 or at any of the homes on the day of the tour.

One ticket provides admission to all homes on the tour. You may tour the homes in any order you wish.

There's a new addition to the fundraiser this year: a Pre-event hosted by Rhonda Springer at In My Kitchen in the Interior Marketplace on Saturday, August 19, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 p.m., which will feature:

• Top 10 Must-Have Kitchen Gadgets for 2006
• Food samples and display of gadgets
• Cookbook signing: Alabama Rich & Flavor by Katherine Helms
• Drawing for 2 tickets for cooking classes, worth $50 (for Kitchens for CASA ticket holders only)
