7 Crest Park Drive

The owners of this kitchen wanted a warm and inviting space that was less formal, yet full of the charm and character of yesteryear. A pressed copper ceiling, black marble counter tops with copper veining and antique glazed custom cabinetry satisfied their requirements.

Arched openings overlook the great room and breakfast room, providing a sense of openness and connection with the rest of the main living areas. The butler’s pantry between the kitchen and dining room as well as the wet bar just off the great room are an extension of the kitchen by providing additional storage and entertainment areas. Copper tile backsplashes, a hammered copper sink, and copper faucets add to the feel of old-fashioned craftsmanship.

The breakfast area features a wall of windows adorned with cafe’ style curtains constructed of a Schummacher fabric featuring copper pots and tea kettles. An antique pub table is surrounded by four carved oak chairs. An antique sideboard carved with jesters and a reading corner adds to the warmth and comfortable feel of this room. Brazilian cherry floors and warm, rich earth tone walls tie all the spaces together.

This open floor plan allows the Vandivers to entertain their friends and family in a charming and comfortable environment.
