11 Muirfield Lane- In the Ledges, Huntsville, 35802- -Part 1

11 Muirfield Lane

The Bragg kitchen was planned as a gathering place for family and friends. The overall desire was for a cheerful and welcoming feel. The round glass topped table features a cherry pedestal with a piecrust top and columned base. It can easily be accommodate the grandchildren when the adults eat in the dining room.

Above the table is an antique stained glass light fixture from the L.E. Bragg, Sr. family home. The elder Braggs purchased this light fixture in their early years of marriage from Noble Antiques. It features a grape motif with individual pieces of colorful glass that curve and mimic the actual grape leaf.

The Brazilian cherry floors are accented by antique Persian rugs. The draperies in the eating area feature strawberries with coordinating ribbon fringe. They are left open to frame the beautiful view of the golf course and the valley below. The original oil painting above the server repeats the colors of the rug and draperies.
