Petty-Benzenhafer Home

Huntsville Pilgrimage Homes #5

811 Randolph Avenue

This late Victorian cottage-style is a wonderful example of elegant simplicity. The bungalow-style covered porch is a perfect place to sit and enjoy the fragrant scents of the beautiful rose garden. Steeply-sloped gables and a bay window add to the charm of this home, now owned by Cristina and Eric Benzenhafer.

This home, developed at the turn of the century as part of the East Huntsville addition, is located in the Five Points Historic District. Beloved Huntsville physician Henry Anderson, his wife, and four children once lived in this charming home.

The Benzenhafers have restored this home and furnished it with family pieces and collectibles. This home, a combination of Arts and Crafts, Bungalow, and Victorian cottage, is a successful combination of architectural styles.
