"The Spirit of Christmas Past" Home Tour & Luminaries

This year’s tour will feature four beautiful Adams Street homes along with the Weeden House. An evening filled with nostalgia, featuring traditional decorations, luminaries, caroling, chimes, music, and live entertainment. The four unique homes are: The Richard Van Valkenburghs, 511 Adams; The Claude Dornings, 518 Adams; The Tazwell Shepards, 619 Adams; and Dr. Gil Aust, 717 Adams. The generosity of the homeowners in the Twickenham Historic District and the many people that have given their time through the years should never go unnoticed. They have made this holiday event a special tradition to look forward to each year by North Alabama residents. Advance homes tour tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children, 12 and under. Tickets are available at Summer Classics at Brooks & Collier, 813 Meridian Street; Marie Imports, 716 Pratt Avenue and the Weeden House Museum, 300 Gates Avenue. The evening of the tour, tickets will be available at each home. Rain date will be Sunday, December 11th.
