07/01/04 Old MacDonald's Petting Zoo is Acres of Fun!
In 1994, Jim and Sherry Lewis bought some park-like land off Highway 72 between Huntsville & Scottsboro and opened Old MacDonald's Petting Zoo. The Zoo includes a beautiful pond, a spacious playground with lots of swings, slides, sandboxes and children's tables), picnic area (with a place to wash your hands and a changing table for baby!), and gift shop.

06/24/04 Young Huntsville Actor Starts Everest Theatre
Chris Bowser of Huntsville is only 16-years old but he's had his own children's theatre for three years. He started Everest Theatre in the fall of 2001 and has produced ten shows so far. Learn more about this amazing kid, his accomplishments and ambitions.

Huntsville gets a chance to see pieces of American history during the Huntsville Museum of Art's exhibit Becoming a Nation from the U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Reception Rooms. More than 130 works are featured in the exhibit and tell the story of our country and its developing culture and aesthetics. We are so lucky to have this unique exhibit in Huntsville through July 18, 2004. Walking through the gallery is like truly walking through the pages of history.
