Los Angeles area based developer, O & S Holdings, is leaving their mark on Huntsville with a spectacular building project due to open in 2007. Bridge Street Town Centre, located in Cummings Research Park, will consist of a 550,000 square foot retail lifestyle center, a 150,000 square foot class-A office tower and 210-room Westin Huntsville Hotel. Occupying the top five floors of the hotel will be 74 luxury Westin Huntsville Residences. A dramatic feature of the project is a 10-acre lake surrounded by open space areas

There's a group of pilots throughout the United States that are using their private planes for more than weekend pleasure trips. Angel Flight America has a mission with a purpose: they "arrange free flights of hope and healing by transporting patients and their families in private planes to hospitals for medical treatment. We also provide free flights in the event of a national crisis or whenever there is a compelling human need."

Any one who knows me, knows that I'm passionate about tea parties and tea rooms. One of my hopes and dreams has been for a tea room in Huntsville. In March 2006, Rebekah Klein, a retired English teacher, answered my prayers and opened Emma's Tea Room (named after her 7 year old daughter) at 401 Pratt Ave. in Huntsville.
