Spring Break Camp

Spring Break is a mini vacation for the kids, but when Mom & Dad have to work and can't get away for an out-of-town trip, it can become a nightmare. What to do with the kids? Here's some spring break camps to keep the kids entertained and happy while their parents are peacefully at work.

BURRITT RANGERS: Around the World in Five Days, a series of educational programs for children in grades K-5th. Programs run from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $40.00 per day or $195.00 for the week. The cost for extending the day to 4:30p.m. will be $10.00 per day per child. Students will need to bring their lunch and a beverage with them each day they attend camp. Registration deadline is March 9th.

Note: Accepts K-8th grade from 6 am-6:30 pm. $105 for members; $125 for non-members.

U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Chose between Space Camp or Aviation Challenge. Youth programs ages 9-18; Child/Parent Programs for ages 7-11. Most camps last 5 days beginning on Sunday and run all year-round.

Space Camp is a four, five, or six day program jam-packed with astronaut training for young people. Activities include simulated Space Shuttle missions, IMAX® movies, training simulators (like the 1/6th Gravity Chair), rocket building and launches, scientific experiments, and lectures on the past, present, and future of space exploration.

Aviation Challenge is a four, five, or six day program that teaches the basics of flight dynamics, land and water survival, and team work. Includes simulated missions.
