Bo Bice spent his high school years in England where he played football on the fields and saxophone in the band at London Central High School, a Department of Defense base for diplomats' children. Bo Bice's mom, Nancy, says that Bo did "okay" in school. One of his favorite teachers in high school once said to him: "Bo, you won't ever be a rocket scientist, but whatever in life you choose to do, you will do it well." And, now, it seems Simon Cowell and the other judges on "American Idol", along with thousands of fans across America, are agreeing with that teacher as Bo Bice came in second on "American Idol" and has a musical career that is skyrocketing.
Bo Bice came "home to Alabama" from England in 1993, and went to the University of North Alabama, where he majored in massage therapy and music production. Bo Bice's interest in natural medicine, aromatherapy, and herbs led him to get a massage therapy license, but Bo Bice's first love has always been music. Bo Bice did practice massage therapy after finishing his schooling, until his attention became focused totally on his music.
