THINGS I LEARNED THIS WEEK:

  • Alabama has the 17th lowest level of binge drinking in the nation among college students, according to a study published last week in the American Journal of Public Health.
  • You can keep up-to-date events, entertainment & specials at 801 Franklin by subscribing to their free newsletter about the restaurant at Joe@801Franklin.com[/b].
  • Williams-Sonoma in Parkway Place Mall is now offering 1 to 2 new cooking classes per week. For more information, call (256) 534-2008.
  • If you want to go to the Murder Mystery Cocktail Party at Clay House Museum on March 26, you'll need to call for reservations (256) 325-1018.
  • Starting this month, the Huntsville Museum of Art is free to everyone on the first Friday of every month.
  • News from Huntsville Botanical Garden: Clementine's Catering is going to manage the Garden Tea Room. It will be called Clementine's at the Garden and opens March 28th, Monday through Saturday from 11 to 2 p.m
