Tips for Week of May 12, 2005
- The Professional Academy of Modeling and Acting reports that they are always in need of actors and actresses for commercials, training films, and other films that come to the Huntsville area. To register, contact Marie or Gayle at 536-5200.
- The North Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama is presenting a professional development workshop on Taming a Wild Accent by Deborah Boswell, the President of Professional Speech Services of ALabama and a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist on May 18 from 2-5 p.m.
- Award-winning Chuck Gordon of Daybreak Productions ("Die Hard," "Field of Dreams") has signed on as the producer of a major motion picture based on The Ambassador's Son, Homer Hickam's latest novel.
- Forbes has named Huntsville the sixth best city for business and careers, up from eighth place in 2004.
- The US Post Office Letter Carriers' annual food drive is this Saturday, May 14. Be sure to donate some non-perishable food.
- The Madison Soccer Club will host a FREE soccer camp on May 16, 17 & 19 at Dublin Park in Madison from 6:00-7:30 PM
