  • Huntsville Hot Tickets is sponsoring a contest with a chance to win round-trip mini-vacatons to Washington, DC or Houston at the Airport booth during the Bicentennial Unity Day on August 6th.
  • It pays to pray! Some area Quiznos offer 10% off your purchase on Sundays when you bring in your church bulletin.
  • 'Under the Dogwood Tree'is the brand new Botanical Garden Guild's cookbook. It is available in the Garden Gift Shop. Cost is $20 which includes tax.
  • The old Sam's Club on North Parkway will close at the end of the business day on August 10th. There will be some specials for the closing, but the manager wasn't sure what when I spoke with him. The new Sam's Club on South Parkway will open August 11th at 7 am for business customers and 10 am for regular customers. You can purchase a Sam's Club card for $30 for businesses with a Tax ID number (you get up to 3 cards) and $35 for regular customers (you get up to 2 cards).
  • Last week we talked about Georgia. Now it's Florida. Starting at 12:01 a.m. on July 23 until midnight on July 31, 2005, the Florida Department of Revenue is offering a nine day, tax free shopping spree on selected articles of clothing, wallets, backpacks and much more.
