My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for several years, but I had three ectopic pregnancies, and ended up having both tubes removed.
We started looking at our options... I am adopted myself, so we considered that, yet we wanted to try at least one more time to have a biological child. That's when we met Dr. Harper at Huntsville Reproductive Medicine. Chris and I decided that IVF (in vitro fertilization) was our last hope.
What is so great about our choice is that our good friends decided to do IVF as well. My friend Carrie and I soldiered through daily shots, hormone treatments, ultrasounds, and lots of doctor visits... and we both found out we were pregnant! Their little boy, Rigel, was born two weeks after Mary-Claire, and we're hoping that they become as good of friends as we are.
I believe that Mary-Claire is not only the cutest baby in Huntsville, but she truly is our little miracle baby."
