A series of tree shaded gardens surrounds the Templeton home and the lush grounds include a patio centered with a flowing fountain, surrounded by ferns and impatiens. A barn, original to the property, has been converted into a guesthouse while another area boasts a playhouse for the grandchildren. A pergola is formed in the rear garden by iron columns originally from a previous owners mercantile store, T.T. Terry.
