The Five Points Historic Preservation District, established in 1999, began as part of the 1892 East Huntsville Addition, and developed slowly over the course of a century. The Huntsville Convention & Visitors Center hosts a walk through the neighborhoods of different historic districts in Huntsville on Saturday mornings. These guided tours are free to the public and attract tourists as well as long time residents of Huntsville. Recently, Jerry Damson lead a group through Historic Five Points. Here are photos of a variety of houses in this important part of Huntsville's history.
