The kids don't get much practice building snowmen here in northern Alabama...but the Huntsville Skating Club in Benton H. Wilcoxon Municipal Ice Complex on Leeman Ferry Road has an annual event called "Frosty's Winter Wonderland," where kids can play in the snow and have a snowman building contest. They also get an introduction to ice skating and some Christmas entertainment. The mayor was there to read a story to the kids, too and, of course, Santa showed up. Don't miss this fun event next year!
