The Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic at Point Mallard Park in Decatur is one of the largest free balloon festivals in the Southeast, featuring balloon races, glows, kite flying, car show, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, children's area and a food court. Every Memorial Day weekend, on Saturday & Sunday, is a fun time to go to Decatur and spend the day or the whole weekend.
