Huntsville Jail

The Huntsville Jail is finally finished. It's only $50 million overbudget and three years behind schedule. Part of the cost went to the rising cost of construction materials over he 5 years the jail was being built.

Huntsville now has a a safe and secure Class-A facility to house inmates. The new jail as 4 floors and will hold approximately 1200 prisoners in 4-8 person cells. There will be 120 personnel on the staff. The city will be saving money on operational costs. Here's a sneak peek before the inmates arrive.
