Saturn V

National Historic Landmark

By , About.com Guide

In July 2007, the Saturn V, a National Historic Landmark, was moved from its resting place at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, where it had been since June 1969. The USSRC is building the Davidson Saturn V Center to house the rocket and protect it from harsh weather elements. The new Welcome Center for the USSRC Museum is scheduled to open January 31, 2008. Here's some photos and history of the Saturn V.
