The Blue Notes 5 consist of five Police Officers employed by the City of Huntsville, Alabama. The Blue Notes sing gospel music a cappella to entertain community organizations throughout the Huntsville area. These five guys come from three different precincts in Huntsville. With their busy schedule, practice and singing engagements are difficult, but not impossible, to fit in.
After auditioning in front of the Chief of Police, the Blue Notes (then with only three members) made their singing debut at the 2005 Graduation Class from the Huntsville Police Academy.
The guys are the first to admit that they are not professional singers. What they may lack in musical training, they more than make up for with their enthusiasm and heart & soul.
