Trinity UMC Gives Back to the Community

Over 300 people recently participated in a "Mission Sunday" at Trinity Unitedd Methodist Church on Airport Road in Huntsville. The churchwide effort to personally experience and serve in missions shows what one church can accomplish and benefited over 10 organizations in the Tennessee Valley. Projects worked on included CASA Community Garden, Downtown Rescue Mission, Therapy Garden at the National Children's Advocacy Center, Operation Green Team, City of Huntsville Community Development, Habitat for Humanity, Interfaith Mission Service, Nursing Home, Assisted Living, and Homebound Visitation, plus food drive for two food pantries. Here's a look at how the projects progressed all over Huntsville in one day.
