Huntsville Cutest Baby Contest #7

Kevin Andrew

Kevin Andrew was born February 3, 2003 and weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. He has brown hair and brown eyes and his first words were "Oh No!"

Kevin's grandmother, Rita Strain, says of Kevin: God has worked miracles in my life with this little grandson. Up until recently I was certain that God was not going to bless me with any grandchildren of my own. Sharing in the Church nursery was as far as I was ever to go. Shows we cannot ever know God's plan! Not only was I blessed with two wonderful step-daughters 12 years ago, now I have two grandchildren.

One of Kevin's very first words was "granmomma." We have had a very special relationship since he was born. It is almost like he knows what a miracle he is for me!!!!! He jumps out of his car seat and runs up the steep hill to see granmamma & granpappa.

Christmas morning found him going to the back door, laden with his stack of books, saying, Granmamma's house....... How blessed can we be. He walked before he was 9 months old, and he hasn't stopped long enough to really start talking. He is a parrot and repeats everything but gets frustrated if you can't understand him.

Clocks were some of his first fascinations. Granmomma's house has a grandfather clock as well as about 4 other chimning ones. He has to take someone by the hand and go around to every clock. This was when he learned his "uh-oh." When the clocks started going off.
