Tragically, Elvis died on August 16, 1977 at his home, Graceland, in Memphis. But The King lives on in the over 35,000 Elvis tribute artists worldwide. I've been lucky enough to have seen two of the finest perform: Mitchell Brown of New Hope, Alabama and Matt Cordell.
