Matt Cordell was born December 11, 1972 in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. He is divorced and the father of one little girl, Madison, 9 years old.

Matt's beautiful, strong voice contributed to his first place finish in the "National Tribute to the King" Competition in 2004 in Kansas City. Although Cordell sings a variety of Elvis songs, he is the only Elvis Tribute Artist in the world that does a two-hour complete gospel songs only concert.
