Spotlight on The Shoals - December 2005

While you are in Tuscumbia be sure to take in one of the popular Trolley Tours. The special holiday themed trolley tours will be offered on December 2nd and 3rd. The tours will feature stops at two private homes, decorated for the holiday season, and a historic church. Trolley Tour participants will enjoy refreshments served at the Coldwater Stage coach stop, which is a pioneer log cabin that served as an early stagecoach stop for the town. A tour guide on board the trolley will provide a driving tour of the National Register Historic District. If you've never been to Tuscumbia before they wonderful historic homes are sure to delight. Tuscumbia is actually the oldest community in the Shoals and it's positively full of gorgeous old Victorian and Colonial homes. The tours start at 4pm and 6pm.
