Football is serious business in Alabama, especially between old rivals Alabama and Auburn. Alabama A & M in Huntsville also has its loyal supporters. Here's a quick look at the 2007 schedule for Alabama football and updates on what's going on.

University of Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama has won 12 national championships in its long football history. It's most famous coach was Paul "Bear" Bryant. Twenty members of the Crimson Tide have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Auburn University Tigers
Auburn played their first football game in 1892. Their first bowl appearance was in 1936 in the sixth Bacardi Bowl played in Havana, Cuba. There have been seven Auburn teams that have been awarded some form of "National Champions" title. The Tigers finished the 2006 season second in the SEC Western Division behind the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Alabama A & M University Bulldogs
The Bulldogs won the SWAC East last year, and were picked to defend their divisional crown this year. AAMU is still looking for their first win in the championship game.
