Life-Size Nativity Set Adorns Huntsville
In 1996, Otto and Diane Freudenberger began a project for Christmas that has grown and grown over the years to become one of the most spectacular sights in Huntsville during the holiday season. Their life-size Nativity Set includes over 70 original figures to show the true meaning of Christmas.

Dinosaur Exhibit at USSRC
A "T-Rex named Sue" exhibit showcases the most complete tyrannosaurus rex skeleton ever discovered. More than 7 million people have seen Sue during the tour, which has visited museums all over the world. This exhibit was created by The Field Museum, Chicago, USA, and made possible through the generosity of McDonald’s Corporation.
2011 Historic Homes Tour
The Huntsville Pilgrimage Association (HPA) was founded in 1984 for the purpose of preserving the historic sections of Maple Hill Cemetery. Once a year in May, homes are opened to the public in each of the historic districts: Twickenham, Old Town, and Five Points.

Watercress Review
Watercress opened in Huntsville the end of September 2010. It is located at 515 Fountain Row in the same location as The Phoenix or Chef Green's on Fountain. Watercress is named after a historical fact about our area. New Market and Madison County were known as the "Watercress Capital of the World" in the 1940's.

This week Huntsville Animal Services is featuring "Isabella" as their Dog of the Week. Isabella is a rough and tumble little puppy who is about three months old. She is a Catahoula Leopard mix. The breed is named after Catahoula Parish in the state of Louisiana.

Her 'stumpy' tail reflects her Manx heritage; her bright green eyes reveal her interest in the world around her; and her welcoming whirrs and purrs point to her eagerness to socialize with both people and other cats.
