1. The bids will work similar to Ebay bidding. The bid increments are in even $1 denominations. The winning bidder will pay only $1 more than the second place bidders highest bid. For example, if you designate $100 as your highest bid, and no one is higher, you win. You may not, however, have to pay the full $100 for the prize. If the second place bidder bids only $60, you will pay only $1 over the second place bidder and the item will be yours for $61. You will only be charged your maximum bid if the second place bidder is within $1 of your bid. Ties will decided by a coin flip.
2. To bid in person: get a bidder number from the bid table representative in the lobby who will then give you some forms with your bidder number on them for you to fill out and indicate your highest bid for the items you are interested in. You will then put that piece of paper in the sealed containers designated for each item you bid on. Bids made in person can be made through intermission of the Sunday performance of Li'l Abner on April 3.
3. To bid by email: send an email to Suzanne Pritchett at depswp@bellsouth.net and include your name, telephone number, the Item No. and Description of the item you are bidding on, and the maximum amount you want to bid. These bids will be placed in the sealed container for each item. Bidding by email will close at noon on Sunday, April 3.
After intermission on April 3, the sealed containers will be opened, and the highest bid will win. You will be contacted to pay for and claim your prize if your bid is the highest.
