What They're Saying in New York...

Theatre Huntsville Show
Sounds a lot like the Drew Barrymore/Adam Sadler comedy "50 First Dates" to me. This show starts out like a comedy, gets wackier and wackier and is pretty dark at times, but in a funny-sort of way. If you've seen the new TV show "Committed," and add "The Sopranos" and "50 First Dates" to the mix, then you'll have what Fuddy Meers is all about...kind of.

."…heady fun…fresh, zingy dialogue, which revels in warping the language of self-help books…Like the resourceful chef who turns leftovers into haute cuisine, Mr. Lindsay-Abaire blends clichéd ingredients into something savory and distinctive…[a] dark, sweet and thoroughly engaging comedy." —NY Times.

"…an antically zany new play…" —Variety. "…wicked fun…the evening explodes with laughter." —NY Magazine.
