Lights, Camera, Action, Action, Action!

The 2006 George Lindsey UNA Film Festival grew by a leap and a bound. A record number of more than 200 features, documentaries, short films and music videos were submitted during the preliminary judging phase of this year's screen competition. Entries were received from Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, Japan, France, Turkey, Canada and Brazil. Festival organizers choose to screen publicly over 100 titles, and the festival even included a regional premiere of the feature film, “When I Find the Ocean”, shot in Alabama. The gala premiere was complete with stars arriving in limousines, a red carpet entrance, a formal banquet, and entertainment by Little Richard after the movie screening.
