Tips for Week of March 15, 2007
- Tickets go on sale April 1st for Panoply 2007. Advanced Weekend Passes will be $10 & Advanced Single Day Passes will be $5. Children 12 and under will be admitted FREE with a paying adult. If you'd like to volunteer during Panoply, contact The Arts Council at 519-2787.
- Menopause The Musicalis playing at the Carver Theatre in Birmingham, now through June 24, 2007. Sounds like a hilarious show and should be worth the drive down there to see it. For ticket info, call (205) 757-0775.
- The Huntsville Botanical Gardenis in desperate need of volunteers to assist in the Tea Room during the lunch hours. Clementine's is open Monday-Saturday from 11:00-2:00. If interested, contact Bernadette Williams, Volunteer Coordinator at [b]bwilliams@hsvbg.org or 430-3572 ext. 238.
- Historic Gurley Associationis a group for people interested in the history and historic preservation of Gurley, Alabama. They are currently searching for pictures of historic structures of Gurley, past and present for a calendar. If you have any to share, send them to 199 Section Line Road, Gurley AL 35748.
- Congratulations to Pauli's Restaurant, celebrating their ninth year of business this month. Watch for them to open Vinotini, a Tapas Parlor, with tables inside and on the patio. It will be a a smoke-free environment, but Pauli's will remain with smoking. They are also adding a Pre-Show and Post-Show Pre-Fix Menu. Check their website for details or call 256-722-2080.
- Unclaimed Baggageha! s their biggest tennis and golf sale of the year this Saturday, March 17th. Doors Open at 8 am. Don't miss it!
