- Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities in 32 states throughout the United States. Angel Food works through churches and community organizations. Regardless of your income, you can purchase a large box of food containing meats (steak, chicken, etc.), box meals, pasta or rice, vegetables, etc. For more info, call First Baptist Church at (256) 428-9400.
- Non-smokers, listen up: You can now go out in the evenings to listen to a good band or sing karaoke without battling the smoke. The Nookon Bob Wallace Ave. is under new ownership and now smoke-free.
- The new Chamber Chorale, joined by the new Huntsville Chamber Winds ensemble, will perform in a special FREE concert at 3 pm Sunday afternoon, May 6 , in the sanctuary of Faith Presbyterian Church (corner of Whitesburg Road and Airport Road). - The Huntsville Botanical Garden has received their first shipment of butterflies. Time to drop everything and go check out the new Butterfly House again!
