Tips for Week of May 3, 2007
- Now that summer hours are in effective at the Huntsville Botanical Garden , Clementine's will be offering a gourmet dinner each Thursday starting at 5:30 in the Tea Room. Contact Clementine's at the Garden in person or call the Five-Points location at 512-0697 to reserve your spot.
- I thought my favorite suit jacket was ruined when I spilled some coffee on it. I took it to one cleaners, only to have them say they couldn't get the spot out. Someone told they had been going to Wilson's Cleaners on Whitesburg Drive for years and they'd never failed to get a spot out. I tried them and they did it--spot gone!
- Pauli's is closing for lunch (darn!) but will be open in the evenings at 5 pm, Monday thru Saturday and Vinotini will be open at 4 pm, Monday-Saturday. For more info, call (256) 722-2080.
- Alabama EARS is dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for domestic rabbits, and educating about proper rabbit care and behavior. Check their website to learn a lot of interesting facts about bunnies!
- Butler High and Huntsville High's A Night of Comedy and Tragedy this Friday night, May 4 at 7pm at Huntsville High School. Tickets are just $5 to see both Huntsville's comedic medley "Caught in the Spotlight" and Butler's award-winning drama "Booby Trap!" The two schools are coming together to help raise money for Butler's trip to the International Thespian Festival .
