  • The Huntsville Stars will be celebrating their mascot Homer's birthday Saturday night as the Stars take on the Chattanooga Lookouts at 7:05 pm at Joe Davis Stadium. Marine personnel will be on hand at 5 pm to collect the toys.

  • Now...for "the rest of the story" about that building on Bailey Cove: It will be a D1 Sports Training and Therapy Center , offering a highly structured and successful training program specializing in building speed, strength, and agility for the dedicated athlete. D1 trains scholastic (ages 7-18), collegiate and professional teams and individual athletes.
  • Sad news: 801 Franklin recently discontinued their public lunches. Now, they only serve lunch for business groups. But they still have their "Social Hour" from 4- 6 Weekdays with $5 Bar Menu & $5 House Wine.
