  • I'm not a beer drinker, but if you are, you might be interested in this fact: Alabama is one of only four states in the country that limits alcohol by volume (ABV) for beer to only 6%, and the only state that limits beer containers to a size of no more than 1 pint (16 American ounces). • Chris Young , the Nashville Star contest winner, will be coming to the Madison Gazebo Concerts series Saturday Aug. 12 (rescheduled from Monday Aug. 7).
  • You can save time and gas and still find out all the sales in town by going to the Shop Local website and look at all the sales online.
  • Quick...stop the rumors...Emma's is NOT closing. Only the tenant upstairs is going out of business. Emma's Tea Room is actually expanding into the upstairs and will have a room for children's parties, card clubs, prayer groups, reading groups, etc. They will also have a tea accessory shop and packaged goodies.
