Maranatha Camp & Conference Center is a beautiful year-round, 144-acre camp and conference center located eight miles south of Scottsboro and only about 40 minutes from Huntsville. If you're looking for a great place for a quiet retreat or business workshop that's not too far from Huntsville, then this is probably the place for you. Although Maranatha Camp & Conference Center is owned by the North Alabama Presbytery, it is available for rent to the general public.

The Lakeside Conference Center was completed in 2003. It features an array of business technology services including internet access, telephone and fax services. There are 16 guest rooms and one room is fully handicapped accessible. The conference room seats up to 200 people auditorium style. A divider wall can be used to transform the space into two smaller conference rooms. There is also a kitchen, dining room, patio and lobby.

In addition to the Conference Center, Maranatha includes four camper cabins (can sleep 14 people) and the Winter (group meetings for 25 people) and Summer Lodges (sleeps 10 people). There are nine hogans (screened mini cabins) that sleep four people. Traditional camping is also an option at Maranatha with numerous RV sites with water and electric hook-ups. Tent camping is also available near the large campfire circle.

Maranatha is situated on a one-acre waterfront property on Lake Guntersville. There is a public boat launch, six aluminum canoes, and three kayaks. Guests can enjoy fishing, boating, waterskiing, tubing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. There is also a Challenge Course specifically designed for team building. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with a diving board and a vesper site for outdoor worship.

For more information on Maranatha Conference Center, contact the office by calling (256) 574-4539 or 877-590-2974 or info@maranathaccc.org.
